Having just spent some down time with Moira MacTaggert on Muir Island, Banshee rushes back to her side after being informed that she is putting into effect the next phase of her Legacy Virus research; namely, she plans to quarantine herself to examine the progress of her illness in an isolated atmosphere. He attempts to dissuade her from doing so, but finally acquiesces. As they wait outside Moira's lab, Rahne Sinclair and Douglock discuss their feelings for each other.Meanwhile, Pete Wisdom searches for his missing teammate Nightcrawler with the aid of Muir Island's version of Cerebro. He quits in frustration moments before the device zeroes in on Nightcrawler's location.Meggan receives a letter from Brian Braddock, in which he tells her he'll soon return. Piotr Rasputin, who has been spending time with Meggan, has mixed emotions about this news.Back in Moira's lab the Excalubur members gather to say their goodbyes to Moira. In the last few seconds before she automated doors lock Moira in, Wolfesbane, unable to bear seeing Moira in there all alone, leaps inside. Douglock despairs seeing her shut in with Moira.
